If It Ain't Broken Bow

"Glamping," or glamorous camping, is the new craze amongst city-slickers like myself. Roughing it in the woods is a thing of the past. If you're interested in trading your bed of rocks for granite countertops, glamping is the way to go!

Glamping campsites are available anywhere in the world, but if you're looking for a quick weekend getaway, look no further than Broken Bow, OK. Broken Bow is in southeastern Oklahoma, approximately three hours north from Dallas and four hours south from Oklahoma City. For those looking to get a little closer to nature, Broken Bow is close to Beavers Bend State Park, which looks like something out of New Hampshire when the fall foliage is at it's peak (late October-early November).

Campsites and cabins are aplenty in the area. We found our cabin on Airbnb, but

similar cabins are also available on Cabins in Broken Bow. Most cabins are outfitted with hot tubs, fire pits, are multi-bedroom/multi-bathroom, have cable TV, and full kitchens. Our cabin slept eight adults comfortably and included an ancillary playroom with a pool table and wet-bar.

Did someone say s'mores?

Happy camping!
